Banners featuring each honoree now hang throughout the downtown area, connecting residents and visitors to the city's story at the heart of the historic courthouse square.</p><p>A dedicated website, <a href="http://www.Columbia250USA.com">Columbia250USA.com</a>, provides brief biographies of each honoree. Historical content was contributed by the Maury County Archives and the African American Heritage Society of Maury County. Mayor Molder said the initiative is about more than marking a milestone — it's about ensuring the stories of those who built Columbia continue to be told to future generations.</p>
