COLUMBIA — A Maury County Public Schools student named Aubree Harper has been recognized for her songwriting as part of a unit developed in collaboration with the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, according to Maury County Public Schools. The program brings professional songwriting craft into the classroom, connecting students to one of Nashville's most storied institutions — just 45 miles up the road.
Middle Tennessee has always been a place where music isn't a far-off dream — it's a neighbor's livelihood, a church's heartbeat, and a story waiting to be told. Programs like this one remind students that the voice they've been given is worth developing. Congratulations to Aubree Harper and to every teacher who made the collaboration possible.
